These Armenian letter ornaments designed in ornamental Armenian script "trchnakir" are first cut by a Syrian Armenian refugee in Yerevan with a custom laser cutting tool, then individually hand painted by a team of artists at the Koghb Art School in Armenia. The design of these ornaments as well as the colors used are found in acient Armenian manuscripts.

These letters are produced by Yereqnuk Handicrafts, which was founded by three professional artists: Arusyak Pashikyan, Anna Nasibyan and Satenik Ghulijanyan in 2007. They are all teachers at the Koghb Art School, which is located in the Tavush province of Armenia and provides free educational activities for children aged 5-18. The Koghb Art School inspires young adults to complete their higher education and make a living in their hometown.
